Andre Berto vs Victor Ortiz fight venue booked http://t.co/IjeOT6W via @boxingfury

Kinda weird that this fight will be in Connecticut. Probably deserves to be somewhere out west... But I'm still down for this fight. Has potential to be a very good scrap. I know Berto will catch a lot of shit for fighting another "140lber" but I don't think people realize how big Victor Ortiz really is. Ortiz will probably be the bigger fighter in the ring.

this is a solid fight... a big difference between ortiz and a guy like urango...

If Ortiz is so big then he should be destroying 140 pounders instead of moving up in weight. Or Ortiz should come up and ko a 147 pounder so that Ortiz-Berto will sell - or at the very least he should have avenged his loss to Maidana (someone we can all agree Berto would have beaten easily) before moving to ww.

I'm personally going to give Berto all the shit in the world until he fights a real ww contender.

Ortiz is bigger than the normal 140lber but dude is a sucker and has been since Maidana whooped his ass. Berto has had a title for years and has fought one guy i really consider a legitimate threat.

That's you're choice! Im gonna sit back and enjoy a great fight...

I wonder, Who do you think Berto should have fought? He tried is hand in the Pacquiao sweepstakes.
ViperSniper
I take it Ortiz being the world beater that he is has nothing left to accomplish at 140 and needs to move up! Boy I hope he gets embarrassed.

Great 500 people will show up haha.gif help.gif C'mon DiBella & De La Hoya are already paid by the casino. I feel that the built up / promotion for the fight will suffer.

Cintron or Clottey. Cintron publicly called him out.
