Kirkland needs to spend less time apologising and more time in the gym getting back in shape.

I think Kirkland has a bright future in the sport of boxing as long as he stays on track and focused. He's a very exciting boxer with an undefeated record which makes him very appealing to the fans. A lot of good fights for him in the future if he can get back in the mix with the bigger names like he was before he got sent to prison. I thought his destruction against Julio was a good sign for Kirkland. He doesn't seem like a guy to fold under pressure, but time will tell. Can you imagine fights against Angulo or Cotto?? I think he will become a World Champion sometime in 2012.
