For all action and post-fight reaction to the Berto-Ortiz fight. Keep everything in this thread. The fight follows the tape delay of Khan-McCloskey.

Khan's fight just ended so i'm not sure how long it'll be, hopefully not too long though.

This should be good. I think this is more competitive a fight than people realize. Ortiz has fast hands and strength, and the last time Berto fought a strong 140 pounder he held all night. Ortiz is faster than Urango, so this might be interesting. Like Teddy Atlas said last night, it really comes down to whether Ortiz has the mental strength to deal with Berto's size and speed. IF he does, this gets interesting. However, he could wilt in three rounds as well.

Ortiz seems to be focused. The perception is that GBP are throwing him to the wolves in this one, so he might be coming in looking to prove something.

I want to see Berto get stretched but I don't think Ortiz is the man to do it. Mentally he is terry cloth, that means very soft.

i can't hate on GBP for getting him the fight. probably the most money available with a belt on the line at WW. i think the problem is that i just have a hard time seeing him beat Berto.
i'd love to see an upset or double KO but i really just see Berto beating him.

And things have gotten interesting. I knew Ortiz could hang with Berto. Now lets see if he can finish it, unlike with what he did with Maidana. God id love to see Berto ko'd.

and now they get really interesting. This is starting to lookk just like the Ortiz-Maidana fight, as Ortiz went down and Berto starting to land that right. We'll truly find out what Ortiz has mentally tonight. What a fight so far.

And now that bitch is starting to hold. I really hope Ortiz can ko him. Both guys are landing huge shots in there. Everytime Ortiz lands somthing clean, it seems like Berto is stunned badly.
