RIP to a true Aussie boxing legend. His triple left hook was pure poetry & he is most deserving of a state funeral.

Heard this on the radio today. I unfortunately haven't seen a great deal of him but have always heard high things of him. Got off the phone with my uncle and he told me how great a fighter he was & how he puts him up there with Fenech in terms of the greatest fighter to come out of Australia, if not greater!

He met him a couple of years ago and told me Lionel was a very down to earth person and felt as if he were talking to a neighbour! I must get a hand of some of his fights!
