I'm heading to Vancouver, B.C. in the morning.

There is no better city in the world to party . . . and that is on a Saturday sans UFC 131 and the Stanley Cup.

Dos Santos better win!!!...

Cerrone is always fun to watch!!!...

Flores vs Nunes is gonna be good... Nunes has some sicc stand up...

And we'll see if Damian Mayas stand up has gotten any better since Spyder lass kicced that ass... Munoz is a good challenger..

I probably won't catch it tho... the card wasn't good enough for me personally...

Enjoy my man. Should be a good time had by all.

Dos Santos has faster hands and better movement. Interestingly, his slight height advantage is nullified by Carwins superior reach, so movement is going to be the key. I was watching some Carwin vids on youtube, about his training and his diet. He's really trimmed down. He was 249 in the vid, and i think he weighed in at 254 or thereabouts, which is a big difference to cutting weight down to 265. Hopefully this gives him some more gas, but i dont expect huge improvements in that department.

I am going with Dos Santos, based on that he is a faster, better striker. Carwin has it all over him in the strength and wrestling departments, but he will chose to trade because of his sledge hammers he calls hands. I think he will get caught and wobbled. If Dos Santos is smart he wont jump all over him, and just keep picking his spots till Shane goes down. If he swarms he will be at risk of a nuclear bomb detonated on his jaw, or getting taken down.

Lesnar probably matches up better vs Junior than Carwin. Even though I think Carwin is a superior version of Lesnar from a technical stand point (despite what we saw in the fight, i'd pick Carwin to win the rematch), similar wrestling and better striking. But Lesnar has the athletic freakishness about him. The speed of the big man is impressive. Which is why i think Lesnar would have a good chance of shooting a take down and mauling Dos Santos on the ground, whereas Carwins lack of shoot speed limits him to just striking with Junior. ANd striking is Juniors main strength.

Junior by KO round 1

Florian over Nunes, this was a tough call and first instinct is Nunes. This is his weight after all, and i dont know how florian will perform dropping down this low. But when i type this, for some reason i see Florian pulling an upset

Maia over Munoz. If Maia strikes with Munoz, it could be a short night. But this will go the ground at some point and Maia will choke him out

Cerrone all the way.

Beltran vs Sosa will be the sleeper fight of the night. Two Mexican heavies (i assume Sosa is mexican anyway lol), cant go wrong there... bombs away

Warlord
Donald Cerrone chops Vagner Rocha down with leg kicks and takes the UD. Love those leg kicks. Love to see fighters using them. It is the equivalent of body shots in boxing.
Warlord
Demian Maia vs. Mark Munoz up next.
Warlord
Hmm, guess the card got shuffled. Actually Jon Olav Einemo vs. Dave Herman is up next.
Warlord
Enemo looking HUGE and pissed.
Warlord
Einemo was getting WORKED on his feet, looking like a fucking zombie, but then he finally got Herman on the ground. Pee Wee escaped, and now it's back on their feet they go.
Warlord
Wonder how that first one will get scored. I'd give it to Herman, but Einemo got the 2 takedowns (the one I mentioned earlier, and he got one more at the end.) We know how much the judges value takedowns, so the first could have gone either way.
Warlord
Herman getting caught with some shots here in the 2nd.
Warlord
It's over! What a fucking fight! Einemo had Herman out, but Herman recovered and had Einemo out, and then Einemo recovered and had Herman rocked one more time, and then Herman comes on STRONG with knees and hooks and finally gets Einemo out of there.

Awesome.
Warlord
Best round I've seen in awhile.
Warlord
Okay, Demian Maia vs. Mark Munoz up next this time. I think.
Warlord
Maia outstrikes Munoz in the first.
Warlord
Munoz lands some heavy shots and then followed it up with some nice ground and pound. Even fight so far.
Warlord
3rd was close. Not sure who wins it. And I don't care. Sorry guys, I just don't like Munoz or Maia. Couldn't get up for this one.
Warlord
Munoz takes the UD.
Warlord
Kenny Florian vs. Diego Nunes up next. Hope Kenny gets grounded down into a shit stain, but I'm not sure how likely that is. Florian is a B+ fighter, and he can hang with everyone except the elite (such as BJ Penn.)
Warlord
Florian coming out with some Fistful of Dollars type shit. Awesome. But he still sucks and the crowd still booed.
Warlord
"Florian sucks!" the crowd chants. Yes he does.
Warlord
Florian takes the UD. Yawn.
Warlord
Dos Santos and Carwin up next. Should be a good one.
Warlord
Dos Santos is the better fighter technically, but Carwin has unreal power. I don't know why, I just have a gut feeling Carwin is gonna take this one. But we'll see how the weight loss affects him in this fight.
Warlord
Oh my. Dos Santos coming out to "Gonna Fly Now" I gotta cheer for him now. Rocky is my favorite movie, lol.
Warlord
GREAT first round. Dos Santos has a HUGE speed advantage, and it is showing. Poor Carwin's face is WRECKED. The fight probably could've been stopped there. You gotta think the end is near. Round 2 is coming up, and Carwin has only gone past the 1st once. Where he got finished by Crock Lesnar.
Warlord
Much better second round for Carwin, who landed some nice heavy shots. I think Dos Santos still took it though. He's still much faster. But he's gotta be careful. He can't let Shane land anything, because even Shane's jabs carry knockout power.
Warlord
Good 3rd. Dos Santos even got 2 takedowns. He should take it 30-27 on all three cards. Props to Shane for his big heart, but Dos Santos is just the better fighter tonight.
Warlord
Dos Santos wins it. Even had a 10-8 round in the 1st by one of the judges.
Warlord
Cain comes in, tells Dos Santos he did a great job. Two great fighters with nothing but respect for each other. Good stuff, especially after all that WWE shit from Brock Lesnar.
Warlord
Wonder what the odds will be for Cain versus Dos Santos?
JONdaCON817
Noone expected that fight to go to the cards... suprising.

That's not good stuff...That just made me not want to see them fight each other..The thing is drama sells...good guy vs bad guy sells...Save that good sportsmanship stuff for tennis or golf. Fighting is the hurt business..Cain should have went in there and said good job but when you step to me you're stepping to the big leagues and I'm putting your ass to sleep. Then I would want to see it. Fighters need to build the fight up and after the fight give respect.
kidbazooka1
Cain/JDS will be a war i give Cain theedge cuz of his wrestling but JDS has some sick power in his strikes.

I guess Florian is getting the next shot at Aldo i can't stand that POS but as long as Aldo comes in better condition than he did against Homininck he'll give Kenny the beating of his life.
lloyd mayflower
Out of curiousity, what do you guys have against Kenny Florian?

That is good stuff. If a match-up between the top 2 fighters in a division doesn't get you excited, you need to have your head examined.

I don't mind bad blood and shit-talking if it is true and honest and comes from the heart. But I do not want to see manufactured feuds and pro-wrestling style theatrics in the ring. That's low-brow entertainment for infantile, juvenile, jizz-sucking, low/no I.Q. mother fuckers brought up on powdered milk, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, and Lebron James basketball.
