Paul Williams just lost (despite what the score cards said) a fight to an unknown fighter. Just a few days ago Arum said that Paul would be Manny's next fight... Does that offer still stand with Paul Williams "win" (he lost)...? I think Bob should first see what a fighter can do before matching his main gun. Arum's choices for Manny are awful. Just awful. If you are saying your guy is the best thing since wheat bread and instant grits he then should fight the best and not guys who look the part, but the best. I always look at things he says with a certain amount of doubt. I pay extra close attention to his body language, his eyes, and his words themselves. Last night, Bob Arum said that he'd like to put Rios in with Pacquiao in 2013. I have no objection to this decision. I do find it strange how Arum can fix his lips to say that Rios can match Manny's 'speed and ferocity'. Ferocity is fairly accurate but speed, absolutely not! He spits in the faces of the many people who've just witnessed Rios' fight, by making a silly statement like that. I just don't get it. In my eyes, Bob Arum is toxic for the sport.

the biggest thing for me has been the fanboys involved in the Mayweather vs Pac soap opera. i don't care if they let the fight marinade if they're talking trash and putting on good fights in the mean time, that hasn't exactly been the case though.

So me saying that it makes no sense and reeks of bitterness for people to hate on someone with such intensity that they are openly wishing for the death of that person (and not doing so in a joking matter), that somehow means I'm excusing what Arum does or has done in the past.
