The comment that I'm about to make is in the poorest taste imaginable and I apologise in advance Mr. Pavlik.
What's he fighting....alcoholism?
I'm sorry Mr. Pavlik, but someone was probably going to say it at some point.

This four rounder could be interesting. Lee's looking sound.

Got to give Durazo credit for not being pushed around by the stronger looking guy.

Looks like Durazo's breathing through the mouth mostly now. A few body shots by Lee and Durazo should be outta there.

The schedule has it as either a 4, or 6 rounder.
Ahh, that explains it, it's a TR promotion. Should've known that since Pavlik's with TR.

I like the body work by Durazo, but Lee is tearin' that head up!

Lee's young, but I didn't see anything that says that he's one to watch. He looks well trained though, which is no surprise with Ronnie Shields in his corner.

Yup. Durazo seems more comfortable in the ring, but that's probably because he's the more experienced of the two (I'm assuming).
Lee still won though.

Yes he did, but Teddy's linguistic prowess should never be questioned.
He picked the Saint by K.O., interesting.

I agree. That should be the logical choice (Manny by KO), but we'll see tomorrow.
Magdaleno/Valcarel should be a barnburner!

Agreed about the whining (or in Khan speak, whinging). I still sort of like Khan though.

They may have given Sigmon the 3rd as a comparative round.

I have it 3-1 in favor of Pavlik...I gave Sigmon the 3rd.
Sigmon s busted up (nose/mouth) in the 5th...and he may be done sooner than we think. He may come back out for the 6th, but I cant really see him making it out of that round.

1st fight: My first impression of Durazo was, "Look at this fat sloppy motha fucka, he bout to get his ass whooped," but he put up a decent showing. Not very impressed by Mike Lee, not saying he sucks. I think he will be stopped sooner or later in his career, by stopped I mean definitely suffer an L.
2nd fight: Now I don't agree with that stoppage, Valcarel wasn't staggered, he was still holding his D.
3rd fight: Sigmon got heart but just outclassed. Pavlik put the beating on him.

That's the last time that I answer a phone call during boxing.
Obviously it's hard to gauge exactly where Pavlik is because Sigmon was a human punching bag.
That being said, maybe Pavlik's ready for JCC Jr now, mostly because I don't think that JCC Jr's an elite boxer. Good, but not elite. If not right away, then one more tune up and Pavlik's good to go. Additional caveat, as you're definitely aware, this match up makes sense because JCC is a big middleweight.
