Nice to see Juan 'Baby Bull' Diaz. He had his moments.
Cshel86
Lmao at Juan Diaz! Dude was an animal in the ring!

Yeah. I guess that he retired a while ago. Good thing because when he started losing he seemed to have lost the will.

Let's see what these lightweights can do.

Yep.

I like the smaller weight classes! These dudes fight with no regards!

Nice fight so far.

Rd. 3. Perez was bossing it for a while. Maldonado definitely not out of it, but that accidental cut won't help him at all.
Cshel86
Mag keeps his head out there too long, smh...
Cshel86
Did he just say that, his mouth is open so wide that a bird can fly in it??? Really? Great 4th round for Perez...I was almost sure that Mag was gonna go down...
Cheesey1
Perez definitely well ahead on the cards. Almost stopped Maldonado in the 4th, but Maldonado survived. Can he get a 2nd wind? Perez has been killing the body.
Cshel86
My apologies...I was serially butchering Maldonado's name. #BlameItOnTheAlcohol

Ha!

Both guys are tired. Even though Maldonado is taking a beating, you never know, he might get lucky.
Cheesey1
As they're saying, Perez should bring some body work back into the mix.
Cshel86
Perez looks uncomfortable at this point of the fight....maybe it's just me though. He's letting Mald walk in, and he's not even trying to counter.
Cheesey1
Perez should learn from this one. It isn't over yet, but it's his to lose now.
Cheesey1
Interesting, Juan Diaz just said that Perez' corner gave him the wrong advice.
Cshel86
Maldo looks gassed, and Perez is just happy about that shit at this point. LOL

Perez clearly has the better jab, but he stopped the combos. The body-head combos were killing Maldonado earlier. I'd watch either guy again.
Cheesey1
Maldonado got himself back into this with a surprisingly effective jab, a wacky style, insane guts and Perez taking his foot off the pedal and not completely killing the body.

Two nice straight lefts by MAldonado in a row. Perez landed a nice right (I think ).
Cheesey1
The irony..Maldonado sets up the knock down with a body shot!

I said that before Steve Farhood said it.
Cshel86
WHOOOAAAA!!! CRAZY 12th round!!!!

WTF is up with that 97-92 card??? Stevie Wonder wouldn't even came up with that score card...

Retarded judges man...retarded judges...
Cshel86
Roman tastes the canvas...
Cheesey1
Caballero's got that one-two down.

He's faster than Roman too.
Cheesey1
Better by Roman in Rd. 3.

Rd. 4- Caballero's slowed down. Roman did say that he wanted to take Caballero into deep waters.
Cshel86
Pretty good 4th round for Roman as well....

Pretty good 4th round for Roman as well....

Definitely, but I still have Caballero comfortably ahead.
Cheesey1
Rd. 7 - Roman looked like he was the most active in that round. I guess he thinks that the deep waters are starting.

Rd. 8 - Roman is letting his hands go more in this rd., as he did in the 7th. Caballero stopped using the jab and Roman is closing him down more now.
Cshel86
When I get hit in the balls, I dont have the tendency to prance around... I go straight to the ground. cool.gif

Caballero's also looking fresh enoigh, but has really stopped jabbing.

Right then he landed the one two.
Cshel86
Glad this one is winding down...boring as hell.

Who in the f*ck said that Pat Russell was a great ref? Wasn't he the one who dicked up the first Dawson/Hopkins decision and refused to discuss his mindless, inbred, decision??? Riiiiight....
Cheesey1
Roman's deep water strategy didn't work. He can take a beating, because he got one.

The first few rounds were nice. Caballero's jab, straight right combos were impressive.

Why does Juan Diaz look like Emmanuel Steward tonight??? LOL

Anyhow, you're right, the first 3-4 rounds were okay, but the rest were poo-poo, in my opinion. At least I had somewhat of a boxing fix until next month...

Don't forget that Abraham/Stieglitz is this afternoon.
Cheesey1
I guess Stieglitz is supposed to win. I'm not sure who's gonna take it. That alone makes it interesting.
Cheesey1
Got to love it. Stieglitz' ring music is classical music!
Cshel86
I liked that version of Eye of the Tiger! cool.gif

PS: My internet finally got back in check...it dropped for a few mins.
Cheesey1
Cautious first round. A few exploratory jabs thrown, but Abraham has thrown a few power punches.

Thanks.
Based on the first round, as long as Stieglitz doesn't do anything stupid, throws the jab and keeps moving, then he should take this.
Cshel86
Not a big fan of Abraham backing straight out of exchanges.

Not a big fan of Abraham backing straight out of exchanges.

Abraham's greatest quality is that he's a bully. Technically, nothing special at all.

Abraham was advancing behind a jab that looks strong. Not bad.
Cshel86
Nice body shots by Stieglitz in the 3rd.

Just noticed Joe "Perpetually Shitty" Cortez as the ref...
