Just looking at this pic...my prediction is shifting a bit. I'm wondering why Lopez seemed to have been trying to make the 154 limit, rather than coming in at around 150. We all know that cuts and muscles dont win fights, but water weight and fat doesn't help either.
If Lopez stays in Canelo's chest and keep him unbalanced and uncomfortable, then I'm sure he can pull out the decision. If he gets too Mexican for his own good, then we'll see the obvious prediction of Canelo winning.

theres also stretch marks on his right shoulder, there usually gained by either losing weight too quickly, or gaining it too quickly

Good opening rd in the Santa Cruz-Morel bout, I gave it to Cruz based on his activity and he landed the cleaner shots. It was close though

Santa Cruz opened up nicely in the 2nd, the right hand seemed to land at will for him

If this keeps up Morel won't last too much longer. I don't know why he's not giving Santa Cruz more movement, it would definitely help him. The right hand is proving to be deadly, the punch output is almost 3-1

Morel's corner has stopped the fight, Santa Cruz by TKO end of Rd 5

Definitely. Morel didn't give himself the best chance. Santa Cruz would probably still have won, but at least Morel would've given himself a better chance.

He could've moved his head waaay more then he did or at least took some steps to the side to mount his own offense

A vacant welterweight belt is on the line for the maidana fight. What has maidana or krass done to earn a title shot. Only in boxing

Yup. Soto Karass is definitely acting like the bigger guy that he is, although he's leaning in too much and Maidana is catching him.

Wow maidana has improved since his lat fight against Alexander. He is tying up and slipping punches more. Also he is double jabbing

Yup, He'd be making the fight easier for himself if he wasn't falling in
And Bayless is a straight gangster for taking points from both fighters haha

Maidana showed some toughness and he looks better his 2nd time out @ 147. He was well on his way to losing that round even without the point deduction..........Good Stoppage for Maidana

DeLeon is fighting a different fight then anyone would've anticipated
1 thing he should stop doing is telegraphing the left hand and leaning forward when he throws it, he'll get caught with a shot he won't be able to recover from

Good stoppage, Lopez was game, he wasn't going to fold, he just couldn't keep Canelo off of him. but Josesito was able to tag him freely at times, and Canelo better tighten up that D before he takes on that A-list comp

No respect for Alvarez. they should have given Lopez thet 100K check just for effort. Alvarez needs to fight guys in his own weightclass. This was a mismatch from the start. he had Guys in his weightclass who he could have fought and that were more than willing to make the deal. Lara and Molina both come to mind. This was a fight Carrot top was supposed to win. Not impressive at all to me.

In the Morel-Santa Cruz fight when they showed the judges they had scores on the screen pre-fight. I was like WTF? Is this tape-delayed? Turned out the graphic was wrong and I fast-forwarded, but on review that was also a very good fight. Lopez was destroyed by Alvarez!

Who else do you think they gave that money to Jack? The man of the night, the man of the event, the event in itself....the P4P bum fighter of the woooorld! (Canelo)

GBP also gave the remaining winners on the card, an additional $25k, besides, they all ended in stoppages.
