-best new prospect? Leo Santa Cruz...though he's a champ now, dude is a prospect in my eyes....a great prospect, but a prospect nonetheless. On the lesser known scale, I'll give it to Javier Fortuna.

-trainer of the year? Pedro Diaz. Though Cotto lost the Mayweather fight, that's the best I've seen him look, especially against a ringmaster in Floyd.

i picked the bailey ko just cause of the brutality of it. one punch, perfectly placed and timed, dude was out and bled ugly after.

bronze garcia for being patient and waiting out the early khan storm then timing him with the ko
silver martinez for giving the grown up spoiled brat chavez his just due
gold josesito lopez for not only breaking ortiz jaw ugly but for upsetting the apple cart and earning himself a few extra bucks

honorable mention to paul williams for the attitude he displayed after becoming paralyzed, dude was still smiling in his wheelchair. i wish i could have that kind of resolve.
