What fighter comes to mind first after reading the title of this topic. Every fighter has there rinkles, but which 1, to you, stands out the most, and makes u feel that it's only a matter of time soon to come before he gets exposed.

gamboa....susceptible to the left hook.

thurman....loads up too much can sometimes be wide.

donaire...can't get away from a decent jab....can't handle effective pressure.

broner....never did see the second half of the fight with ponce deleon. let me get back to u on this...

russell....still waiting for him to step up the comp. i'm gonna guess fragile mentality.

mares...needs help from the refs

quillen can be robotic but looks good.

cote...gets hit too easily.

garcia...kind of slow...gets hit too easily.

Gamboa kind of chinny and can he wild at times, not a good combo.
Thurman, sits on his punches too much, gets tired and has wide hooks.
Donaire, seems to have trouble with boxers, lack of patience, gets hit a lot so he might have trouble when he faces a real puncher.
Broner, gets hit often in exchanges, sometimes admires his work.
Russell Jr, his style and his ass are never in the ring with real competition.
Mares, cheats and he knows it.

Haven't seen enough of fury but I do remember when he uppercut himself, that can't be a good style.
Quillin, gets hit a lot, a lot of times doesn't let his hands go enough, seems to rely on his power.

Garcia, like him a lot, has really good timing, but I think he's gonna have trouble fighting his way when he fights someone who hits just as hard or harder then him because he likes to stay in the pocket a lot and he swells/cuts really easy it seems.

damn man, you said it fuckin best. i'm interested to see how garcia would do against a counter type of himself, someone who sits waits and swings with power. bet that'd be a good fight. is there anyone who poses that kind of challenge?? ortiz, berto, peterson? matthyse? I know they are atleast inthe same weight range.

i haven't seen enough of these other guys to make an honest assessment. for whatever reason i've never been compelled by gamboa. the rest i just haven't had a chance to catch besides fury. like you, only thing i seen on fury was the self inflicted uppercut lol

I think a fight against a guy like ortiz would definitely be great against Garcia. Both extremely strong pretty good counter punching ability, but right now ortiz is huge so that's kind of out of the question. But a guy like Lucas who can take it as well as dish it out just as well if not better then Garcia I think would be trouble for him. A lot of people forget Garcia was having trouble with morales only a year ago, I actually had Erik up until the later rounds when he got wild and dropped.

And i have a feeling that's gonna be furys highlight of his career Haha

I had Erik ahead too. Garcia looked hesitant and lost until Erik gave him some opportunities

I ommitted a few guys because I dont watch enough of them to make a fair and accurate comment.

Gamboa- Allows himself to get hit unnecessarily in chase of a KO.
Thurman- Leans forward too much on his punches. Can be a bit overzealous. Seems like his first KO loss will be to a nicely placed uppercut.
Donaire- I don't know if he really does it to force the action or not, but he gets hit way too much by inferior opponents. He also squares his body up a lot when he gets in his little "zone".
Broner- Like Bernard Hopkins in the fights just before Pavlik, Broner is a pure boxer who sometimes can't understand that it isn't enough to just look more technically sound that your opponent. We all know he lands the cleaner, crisper punches but sometime the judges don't care if a punch from your opponent only partially landed.
Russell Jr.- He comes in kinda wide and completely drops his hands when he's throwing combinations. Ironically, he's most vulnerable when he goes in for the kill.
Mares- If he runs into a veteran referee whose not afraid to call him on his bullshit and knows what to look for, he may struggle. Also, if he runs into a guy that can keep him on the end of their jab.
Quillin- Loses focus and leans on the ropes, taking unnecessary punishment. He also keeps his guard too high at times. N'Dam was able to touch him to the body on far too many occassions. Also, you can sweep the hook around his guard with regularity.
Garcia- He's just wild. I think it's a matter of time before some boxer with a solid IQ and str8 punches tags him up really good. I think the person to do it won't even be a big puncher.
