Fightnews says that a same day coverage of two world title fights will be coming from China on HBO 2. They will be as follows:

Rocky Martinez (Champ) vs #1 contender Diego Magdaleno (WBO Jr. Lightweight Championship)

-AND-

Brian Vilora (Unified Champion) vs. Juan Estrada (WBA/WBO Flyweight Championship)

Plus.

China’s two-time Olympic Gold Medalist and three-time World Amateur Champion Zou Shiming.

Broadcasting will be Larry Merchant, Tim Ryan, and Big George Foreman!

Please have this work out! I would love to see Tim Ryan and Big George over at HBO. Especially George again. Years ago, I thought he said idiotic things, but now I miss him. I would gladly dump Max Kellerman and Bob " Little Enthusiasm" for Tim and George.

Bumping this up so people don't forget. This will be an afternoon LIVE bill from China. We will plan to have our traditional round by round thread up for this fight before Saturday morning.

Screw this dude! He's about to be another fighter that HBO tries to shove up our asses as the next big star.

Who in the hell wants to see his pro debut anyway? Isn't that shit only gonna be 4 rounds? Scratch that, it probably wont even go the whole 4 rounds. No way they put this guy in against somebody that will hand his ass to him.

+1. And I think he's gonna be the main event too. It's like who gives a fuck? The actually fights are the two championships on the card.

I wish I was! Hopefully I am wrong. In fact, I am so disgusted with the way that HBO has been pom-poming this "Build an Olympic star against a sacrificial lamb, that in greater thinking about this, I may not watch it live. Why give them ratings points for an untested 4-round fighter that HBO can go ga-ga over, like CShel said, try to force an Olympian down our throat just because he's an Olympian? I hate these kind of fights. It's almost a foregone conclusion of what's gonna happen.

Yea, I did read that somewhere, that this 4 round nothing POS is gonna be the main event. If that's true, fuck the whole promotion of this card, seriously.

Wow, just.....WOW!!....this is an unproven cat they pushing on us and I know they gon play up the Olympic angle but what pisses me off is that they just jumped on the Andre ward bandwagon when he proved himself over at Showtime. HBO is like a misguided parent and we the fans are the kids who have to take care of them to get them to get their shit straight

Exactly,

Maybe I will be wrong about this and this will just be the opening match. But what I heard is that they are pom-poming this Olympic Gold winner like he is the second coming over there and HBO is of course feeding right into that con game. It's like the execs are crying and all panicky because they lost Floyd and Oscar's Golden Boy fighters to Showtime, so now it's like ram some unproven Olympian down the throats of the public because "WAAAAAAAA Floyd and Oscar won't let us play in their sandbox anymore!" HBO execs pouting! "Those ingrates! We built that sandbox for them! It's not fair, it's not fair!!!!!"

The whole thing is the spoiled child syndrome, so I'm taking my ball and bat and going home mentality. And this is the result of that. Would HBO be doing this card if Floyd and Oscar were still doing business with them? I don't think so!
