Fists should be flying in this one! Who do you pick, and why?

Isnt next weekend June 8th.

Can't wait for this fight. Hopefully if Maidana wins he fights Guerrero or maybe even Berto if he gets past Karass. The winner of those fights should fight Alexander/Khan winner early next year.

Maidana by TKO in 8, but he will have to go through hell to get to that point!

I got Lopez in 10. Lopez has length and overall sharpness. I really like the crisp he showed on his punches against Ortiz. Maidana better be in better shape than he was against Alexander.

If Lopez comes up short in this one, then he'll be in No Man's Land for a while until he makes good of another big opportunity. Lopez takes too many punches because he knows that he can...hopefully he's turned a new leaf after that beating that he took from Alvarez.

Lopez needs to get off first, and not stand around and wait for Maidana to return fire. If he makes this mistake, then we already know what's gonna happen...he'll be forced into a dog fight that he surely doesn't mind fighting, but his body wont agree.

If Maidana comes up short, then GBP can always hook up that Maidana/Guerrero bout, since both of them would have lost their recent bouts. Anyhow, I have Lopez by stoppage, of course it will be late because Maidana can take all kinds of shit before he decides to fold. This is a pick 'em fight though.

I'm all set to go to this one, its gonna be awesome! I'm actually looking forward to the undercard more than the main event. It's just more interesting to me for some reason, the division is getting hot also.

Maidana in 8. Lopez is beyond "game", but I think his showings against Vargas and Ortiz (both have shown neither is "special") have made him into a "Ponzi scheme". Meaning, his stock isn't as good as the public's opinion.

Wouldn't it be weird if Lopez stopped Maidana? We've never seen Maidana stopped before, so this would be a feather in his cap, if he can pull it off.

I am not happy the fight is in California. We have seen instances of too many California refs stop fights too early, or as a friend of mine says, refs "putting dresses on fighters" when the action gets rough. California refs are often like UK refs with early stoppages. This is a concern I have going into this fight.
