Chavez Jr. is willing to fight all three men which is interesting because they will all put L's on his illustrious record. Maybe he will have better luck with Martinez but Ward would make him look worse than Martinez and I think GGG would test his chin. Kudos to Chavez Jr. for wanting to fight these men. I guess he is looking to cash it out.

no one ever questions his balls. say what u will about the kid...he can fight. i don't know that he'll beat ggg or ward...but i will definitely watch. martinez is done. he's losing to his next real opponent.

i think he's a lot more dedicated than ppl give him credit for. u don't go 12 rounds with a prime sergio martinez....endure 11 rounds of an ass whoopin and come back in the 12th to drop him twice and almost stop him. freddie roach said he worked hard for that fight. his body showed it. the way he finished showed it as well. hbo did a great job of painting him that way.

he worked in someone's drive way in East LA, he shitted on Freddie Roach when not showing up to train. he worked out in rented condo and slept until God knows when. He was hardly dedicated. He was outclassed by Martinez, Martinez was more responsible for that knock down than Julio. It was a joke!

i think freddie was there for show. boxing isn't like a 9-5....sleeping is a big part of your day. the schedule he kept seems unusual to regular working folks....but he was putting in the work. even in that east l.a. bbq. laugh.gif

I'd like too see all of those match ups but I want to see Chavez Jr and Ward the most. Andre needs the fight badly and he deserves a big fight like this

I think he'll fight Ward next if he gets past Vera. Ward wants it, Jr wants it, the Bobfather wants it rolleyes_anim.gif .

I would like to see the Sergio rematch first.

Doubt Jr could make the weight anymore without it legitimately hurting him, the guy looks borderline obese right now.

The kids a fighter though, him and ggg would be a barn burner. And gennady could use chavez exposure

That's all I've been trying to say laugh.gif

I can eaaaasily see a Chavez/Ward fight happening, been saying this for a while now.

Me thinks that Arum will make money off of Chavez, regardless of who he fights, since he is so marketable. A Martinez rematch is winnable at this point, which could easily set up a rubber match. A Ward fight would be more of a benefit to Andre, rather than Julio, but I can still see it happening. They could easily make Ward wait, since he's depending on Julio's marketability to enhance his.

As for a GGG fight, of course most would say that it's a dangerous fight. Me being a Chavez fan, I don't think it will be as easy as most predict. Julio is STILL a giant, so that's a lot for GGG to chop down. I don't think (read: I have yet to see) GGG has the energy or the mindset to move for the whole fight and avoid Chavez walking him down.

I know he's had a million amateur fights, but keeping a big guy off of you in a pro fight for up to 12 rounds, is a daunting task. Anyhow, Chavez may as well go ahead and finish Martinez off, since he isn't looking so great nowadays.

I think Chavez just doesn't give a fuck anymore since he took that L. He has nothing to protect, and is now living his legacy on fighting the best fights out there.

the chavez fight for ward is going to be the one to bring andre under arum's banner....so of course bob is open to making that fight.

I agree with you here, this fight wouldn't be easy for ggg. I say make it happen, ggg has been talking a lot of noise calling everyone out from 160 to 168 and now he AND ward have turned down fights with rodriguez. I'm tired of hearing both of them talk, let's get it on!

i hope ward sees how bradley and rigondeaux are being done at the moment before he signs a deal with the devil himself.

Exactly. He thinks his career is moving at a snails pace now...just wait until he beats someone Arum wants him to lose to.
