Full Version: Tim Bradley suspicious of JMM and PEDs
FightHype Community > BOXING HYPE > Boxing
emd01
Its crazy this dude has it on paper that the fight has to have RBTs by USADA and/or VADA and JMM can somehow get out of it. JMM is one of my favorite fighters but damn...he's probably juiced to the gills. Bradley really should have stuck to his guns and called the fight off. Now, if he gets a finishing move put on that ass he cant complain.

LOVING THE SIGS biggrin.gif

Until I see a proof hes juicing, I dont give a shit.

Just like Tim, jmm has never been caught on anything. Yea testing is a good thing but I don't see the need for two, three agencys doing it at once.

Tims a real dude doe, funny guy to.
emd01
I never said I gave a shit just that Bradley is stupid for fighting someone that he thinks is juicing. He just recovered from mild brain damage and now he's going to fight someone he thinks is juicing that has KO power. If he gets his ass KOed, he cant complain afterwards is what i'm getting at.

You dont try and weasle out of taking a drug test if youre clean though.

it's funny how Pac never got the benefit of a doubt when Mayweather wanted testing, yet JMMs clean till proven otherwise...

Funny how pac fans gave pac the benefit of the doubt until he got ktfo now they are screaming for more testing.

Took jmm years and extensive training to Climb to 147 and he hasn't refused testing. Pac came out with that whole scared of needles/makes me weak, I'm to bon jovi to test for anyone BS. And if I remember correctly jmm accepted testing for the pac fight but for some supernatural reason the pac camp declined after insinuating jmm was juicing laugh.gif

For me, the bottom line is, I grant the benefit of the doubt if the fighter hasn't popped for anything UNLESS they have issue with taking the test. I don't care if you get Barry Bands size, I don't care about your power increasing or your head looking big. That's the equivalent of those hoodrats saying "look at both of their noses" on Maury. Don't mean shit. But when you start going out your way to avoid testing, that's when my antennas stick up just a little.
BigFightFan
PEDS or not, Bradley will out work JMM to remain undefeated. Even if Marquez lands a punch similar to the one he put pacquiao down with, Tim will take and keep on fighting. I'm predicting 115-133 UD for Bradley.

laugh.gif laugh.gif Pac and JMM were/are juice heads. Notice neither has taken a test since all of the allegations started. JMM was just calling Mannys bluff about the testing. He knew damn well Manny wasnt about to do any testing. Now, JMM is getting tested by an "outside agency" approved by the NSAC...gtfoh. Some Lance Armstrong shit will eventually happen when some sparring partner or associate gets butt hurt and the beans will be spilled.

I think this is a mind game Tim is pulling. This is the one thing that Marquez hates to even talk about. Doubt that he had to cheat to beat Pac. Tim is screwing with JMM>

could of just been juicing while he was on that off season so to speak, and when fighting pac hes all clean.

a few things...

jmm tried to outbox pac in the first 3 fights. in the last fight...he went for the ko and got it. his training in the first 3 fights was primitive. in the last fight it was up to date. he offered to test...pac and his ppl declined. he didn't knock pac out because he had some extra power...he knocked pac out because he took advantage of a mistake that was there since the very beginning.

i never thought pac juiced. his excuses not to test were bullshit. i believe his accomplishments against hatton, dlh, cotto, clottey, margarito and shane were the result of a few things...weight drain, recent beatdowns and trainer issues.

vada is VOLUNTARY ant-doping agency. key word...voluntary.

why is vada better? because some shill writers and a former known cheat who concocted ways to get by testing say so???

where is the proof that ped's give someone a significant advantage??? in the fights we know ppl were using....they didn't exactly look stellar.

i'm not sure they give a fighter any advantages based off of these fights. i think it's been made out to be more of an issue than it needed to be.

With all due respect people are only telling half the story on Pacquaio, the man eventually came around and said yes. When has Marquez said yes? In fact let's look at the obvious here which usually gets dismissed in the Floyd vs Manny fight..Floyd was giving them no concessions meaning he got to pick ring size, glove size, venue, which locker room he'd use, hell even the money. Pacquaio has gone on the record explaining what those negotiations were like...I doubt the fight wasn't made over testing..because he's earning considerably less for Rios and testing for it. It was always about money. There was no concession, I think him saying no originally to testing was more of a technique to get more money out of the fight but when he said "Fine, i'll take the test" the speculation should've died...ya'll didn't see Floyd say shhh about testing after Pacquaio said yes to USADA. I don't see JMM saying yes in any capacity to rigorous testing. Was Pacquaio juicing? Who really knows but he was willing to get off it to fight if he was actually juicing to make the fight happen...what's JMM's excuse? Pacquaio didn't sign a fight contract and agreed to take tests and then backed down. So again with all due respect we cannot compare both situations outside of the superficial. Now Pacquaio is indeed testing himself...Marquez is doing what? Creating a circus over something he signed on for. When Pacquaio asked for JMM to be tested what happened? Can we not see something similar to what's happening with Bradley now? I'm going to go out on a limb and say they dropped testing like Bradley did so the fight wouldn't fall apart. As far as I know Ariza isn't a chemist, but Memo is. As far as I know Ariza wasn't on an olympic level of S&C but Memo was. As far as we know Ariza has never had one of his athletes tested by a global sanctioning body..Memo has and guess what a good chunk of them were caught years after they faded from the limelight. In my opinion its only a matter of time for Marquez...Hell Erik Morales or Barrera went as far as to say "The Mexican Pharmacy was better tonight" when JMM beat Pacquaio and I think for a legend like that to say that so publicly should be setting off alarms.

You don't negotiate with Vada, it's an all encompassing testing. USADA is like the McDonalds menu where you pick what gets tested for. This is publicly available information. Matter of fact go look at Winky Wright's interviews about USADA for his match with Quillin.

this topic has been discussed to death. pac had his window of opportunity. u fail to mention that he asked for an outrageous 10 mil per pound ( or was it 1 mil?) for every lb floyd came in over the limit. floyd agreed to that ridiculousness. pac is the one who disagreed to testing. whatever the case...i never thought pac ever had a chance against floyd. i thought he loss 2 of the first 3 fights. the fight is useless/meaningless at this point. i've lost all interest. as far as barrera and morales' comments....jealousy/hate/envy are not a manly traits. jmm did what they could not. jmm offered to test when he was accused. pac backed off.

Just by reading your first statement I can tell you need to get your facts straight. Jmm never denied testing for the pac fights, in fact he insisted. He hasn't even denied to test for this fight, they just didn't agree on the agencies. And as soon as you mention barerra and Erik on their opinions on jmm you just lose more credibility, its been long known that these guys despise marquez.

DUCKTALES like a muthafucka....did you not see that fight contract from when they were on the brink of fighting in like 2010. If there were no concessions then the fight would've been dead in the water without those contracts being broken up. Now I'll admit there was posturing on both sides trying to flex their muscles but that fight really didn't happen because Manny and his camp declined to participate in random drug testing...how the hell you get Mayweather didn't give any concessions when he agreed to a 50/50 split in the contract initially...then when they were allegedly trying to make the fight the 50/50 split went out the window..how long did it take for him to agree to the drug testing? i think all of the top fighters are using ped's so im not too concerned. been going on for a while now. whether its EPO, HGH, or steroids, almost all of the top guys are using them. ive read that floyd has tested positive 3 times, and i dont have much doubt that JMM is on them right now. my question is, does anyone really care?? people only seem to care when one of their favorite fighters loses.

im guessing everyone thinks evander holyfield was natural too.

You must've not been around these parts in quite some time because I'm the strongest advocate against Evander just like a few others.

You mean you heard rumors Floyd tested positive? Check the source, that's all I'm saying lol

The fact is until JMM or Floyd or any other fighter without a shadow of a doubt tests positive for these things it's just pure speculation. IDK if JMM is juicing or if Manny ever did it but the truth is they cast that doubt on themselves by some of their actions regarding testing

I think a lot of people care and I'm one of them. I don't care who the person is, wrong is wrong, doping is an unfair advantage and the sports world as a whole needs to get cleaned up. That Bosh guy who ran biogenesis clinic has said he has some heavy hitters in boxing who've took ped's. And he said he has some in the NBA, and other sports. The rumor is that LeBron took something, but in Boxing because their is no true commission or governing body, it gets swept under the rug. Wait til some major basketball player gets caught, ever wonder why Chris Paul pushed to oust Derek Fisher and become president of the players league? Now he's convinced his fellow players that they don't have to agree to PED testing. Why doesn't he and the players want it? It's some big time dudes using that's why

And as far as Boxing, when somebody gets hurt and the other fighter is found to have performance enhancers in Their system that's when most people when jump on the band wagon. But that's the problem with people they bandwagon too much and only tackle an issue when it's close to home. I am very critical of anyone who used, no matter if I'm a fan or not. Using PED's is not playing on a level playing field, its an unfair advantage and all cheats need to be weeded out and discarded

Not to mention, if there were no concessions by the Mayweather camp, what EXACTLY is going from RB&UT up to the day of the fight, to 14 days? By definition, a compromise IS a concession. Wow. Been a long time since I've witness someone actually TYPE out some oxymoronic stuff.
Dolimite
Not to mention, May agreed to the ring size, glove size, purse split, and even the 10 million dollar per pound if he would come over. Why is everyone shitting on the fact that he wanted better testing for the biggest fight of this boxing era? Someone please tell me? Imagine if the two biggest names put their face on safer testing for boxing? Manny looked hellva suspicious. Plus look how Manny has looked in his past few fights after the allegations of him using had been made his performance has been on decline. Manny has himself to blame. Fighting Brandon Rios hardly qualifies as tough competition.
