"We've watched some tape on him [Bradley] and I see a lot of holes in his defense and Manny's going to take advantage of them...Manny Pacquiao has been fired up, ready to go...everything is right where it's supposed to be...I believe he's going to be a better fighter now. He's more focused...I think you're going to see the best Manny Pacquiao yet," stated Roach and you don't want to miss what else he had to say about Bradley, the fight, and much more. Check it out!
FREDDIE ROACH
We've had a great training camp. First 3 weeks in Baguiao were very successful...Manny's focus is the best I've ever seen.
We've watched some tape on him [Bradley] and I see a lot of holes in his defense and Manny's going to take advantage of them.
Yeah, Bradley does come in with his head first...but we've worked that out to try and nullify that.
It's something that we've got to be aware of, but something that we're prepared for though.
Marquez is always going to give you trouble...personal problems with Manny showed in the fight and I don't think that will happen again...He's 100% focused for this one.
Moving up in weight class, that's where the bigger challengers were and the bigger fights. We just had to feed Manny a lot more...he performed very well at those weight classes and moving up in weight classes was necessary because that's where the bigger challenges were and that's where we had to go to be the star he is today...it worked out well for all of us.
His focus is really good. We don't have days where he comes in tired and so forth because he doesn't have any nightlife whatsoever...he's very focused on the fight...he just a 100% better athlete with no distractions.
Manny Pacquiao has been fired up, ready to go...everything is right where it's supposed to be.
I've been watching Bradley and I don't think he's a good counter puncher...I've mapped out my game plan for Manny after watching many, many tapes of Bradley...you'll see Manny fight a good fight on the night.
He's very strong, he comes forward, he can be aggressive...we know we got a tough fight coming up.
My initial feeling, yes, I think he'll try to fight Manny...whatever he brings, we're prepared for it....Manny's ready for a slugger, he's ready for a boxer, so I've covered all the bases.
Experience, speed, and power [Pacquiao's advantages]...speed is hard to deal with, power will knock you out, and experience will make it a little bit easier for you.
I believe he's going to be a better fighter now. He's more focused...I think you're going to see the best Manny Pacquiao yet.
