HBO's award-winning franchise "24/7" returned with the latest episode of "24/7 Pacquiao/Bradley", the all-access reality series following 8-division world champion Manny Pacquiao and undefeated jr. welterweight champion Timothy Bradley as they prepare for their June 9th showdown at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. "I'm sick of training and I just want to fight. I can fight tomorrow, I can fight tonight, I can fight anytime, and I'm ready to go. I'm ready for the big day...I should be strong enough to outlast Pacquiao. I should be strong enough to take his punches. I should just be, overall, I should be in the mix every single round and every second," stated Bradley, and you don't want to miss what else he had to say. Check it out!
TIMOTHY BRADLEY:
I'm sick of training, you know? I'm sick of training and I just want to fight. I can fight tomorrow, I can fight tonight, I can fight anytime, and I'm ready to go. I'm ready for the big day.
This is my third fight with him [Strength & Conditioning James Rougely]. I should be strong enough to outlast Pacquiao. I should be strong enough to take his punches. I should just be, overall, I should be in the mix every single round and every second.
I actually started doing the diet [Vegan] actually 4 years ago when I fought against Junior Witter. I had a lot of energy, you know, during the fight, I had a lot of energy during my training camp, so I just kind of adopted it, you know, as far as training goes.
I definitely feel the difference, you know, going Vegan and going green. I have long training sessions and recover a lot faster than most athletes out there, so, I pretty much have energy all day, all night. After my night run, I mean, I'm up, you know? I'm up during the nights, you know, during the hours, you know, either studying film or up watching TV or just laying in the bed and just thinking about the fight. But I pretty much have energy all day.
I'm so confident in my abilities. I train like no other, you know? That's the reason why I'm gonna win the fight. The fight is won in the gym; it's won in the gym.
June 9th, baby, all you gotta do is tune in. Witness history, baby! Witness history!
My dad's going to be here to support me, you know. He always has been. He's not going to miss this. My dad was at every single fight of mine, you know. It's rare that he's miss an event, you know. Just providing is not being a father, you know. You gotta spend time with your kids. I appreciate all the time my father spent with me.
