Moment ago, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, undefeated jr. welterweight champion Timothy Bradley shocked the world, defeating former WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao via split decision. Pacquiao appeared to be dominating the majority of the rounds, looking explosive and quick as he consistently beat Bradley to the punch, finding a home for his left hand time and time again. Bradley, however, was game and fought fire with fire, though he didn't have the same type of ammunition that Pacquiao was loaded with. On several occasions, Bradley was rocked by big left hands from Pacquiao, despite landing some excellent shots of his own. In the end, the judges scored the bout 115-113 (Bradley), 115-113 (Pacquiao), and 115-113 (Bradley) to award the split decision victory to Bradley. Jessica Sanchez sounded great, as usual, singing the National Anthem. I still don't know how she didn't win American Idol. I always LOVE watching the This Is Boxing promo before the main event. Talk about getting you pumped for a fight. Timothy Bradley comes out first. He looks extremely focused and determined as he makes his way to the ring. He's in the center of the ring looking towards the entrance as he searches for Pacquiao. Now Pacquiao makes his way to the ring. As usual, he's all smiles as he pumps his fist to the crowd.

It's on. Bradley paws with his jab. Pacquiao reaches to the body. Bradley gets in a left to the body. Both guys look fast. Bradley fires a right down the middle, but it's partially blocked. Nice counter left landed by Bradley. Bradley doubles up on the jab. The crowd chanting for Manny. Bradley sneaks in a left hook. Another left hook gets in for Bradley. Pacquiao digs a left to the body. More chants for Manny. Nice left upstairs followed by some body shots for Bradley. Manny strafes him with a left. Nice right lands for Bradley. Quick left lands for Pacquiao. Another. They trade shots. The crowd goes wild. Good round. I give it to Bradley.

Now Manny starting to beat Bradley up on the inside as he digs to the body. Bradley lands some hooks and Pacquiao just eats them and smiles. Left to the body lands for Pacquiao. HUGE left hand lands for Pacquiao and Bradley is rocked. Pacquiao jumps on him and lands more shots. Bradley looks ready to go. He holds on. Pacquiao still swarming on him. Bradley missing wildly.
