"September 15, I will be victorious without a doubt. I am going to show him who I am as a fighter," stated WBC middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., who sounded extremely confident during today's press conference in Los Angeles to announce his highly-anticipated showdown with middleweight king Sergio Martinez. According to Chavez Jr., despite the fact that Martinez presents a very unpredictable styles inside the ring, come September 15th, he'll be the one who has some surprises up his sleeves that Martinez won't be ready for.
"And I have 1 question for him. Where is he going to go when he loses? I'm going to make him eat his words," Chavez Jr. continued. Apparently, the war of words between both fighters has already begun during the very first stop of their 4-city press tour. It should be interesting to see what else transpires throughout the week as they continue to come face to face at stops in Las Vegas, New York, and finally, in Mexico, where Martinez can definitely expect to feel the heat on enemy territory. September 15th can't get here soon enough.
