Moments ago, at the US Bank Arena, in Cincinnati, Ohio, former champion Adrien Broner put on a masterful display of boxing, punishing and stopping challenger Vicente Escobedo in the 5th round. Using his superior speed and technical skills, Broner controlled the fight from the start, picking Escobedo apart from the outside as he stalked him and broke him down to the body. Several months before the bout, Broner revealed that this would likely be his last fight as a super featherweight, news that would later be confirmed after he failed to make the 130-pound limit, causing him to be stripped of his title. Nevertheless, Broner still put on a dominant performance that showcased why many consider him to be the next big superstar in the sport. Relive all the action in FightHype's round-by-round results.
