"Bro, I have been ready for a tittle since I started getting on my feet when I was a baby (laughing). But yeah, I'm ready now...That will be a good fight one day. We are both young and hungry...t will happen if it was made to be," stated undfeated lightweight contender Sharif Bogere, who talked about his future plans, a potential clash with fellow undefeated lightweight Adrien Broner, and much more. Check it out!

DK: Sharif, how are you doing?

SB: Thank God, I'm doing good, brother.

DK: You last fought in June, a win over Maneul Leyva. What did you learn about yourself from that fight?

SB: That fight was good. It was a good win. That guy had fought some good prospects and had experience. I learned more in the gym, so at the fight, I just do what I can do to win.

DK: You are now 23-0 with 15 knockouts. You're still only 23 years old. How long until you believe you are ready for a title shot?

SB: Bro, I have been ready for a tittle since I started getting on my feet when I was a baby (laughing). But yeah, I'm ready now!

DK: You are promoted by Golden Boy Promotions. Another fighter, also promoted by Golden Boy, is moving up to the lightweight division. Adrien Broner says he wants the best in the division. Do you want a fight with Broner?

SB: Oh yeah. That will be a good fight one day. We are both young and hungry.

DK: Have you approached Golden Boy about a potential match-up, or has anyone contacted you about it?

SB: Oh yeah. People wanna see it. It will happen if it was made to be.

DK: Realistically, when is the next time we will see you in the ring?

SB: No actual date yet, but possibly in near future [Writer's note: Rumors are circulating that Bogere may face Richard Abril in October].

DK: You are nicknamed "The Lion Warrior" and come to the ring wearing a lion suit. I have to ask, is that a real lion?

SB: David, you wanna wear it some day? That's a real killa lion right there.

DK: (Laughing) I would love to. Alright Sharif, I appreciate the time. Is there anything you want to say to the fans out there?

SB: It's my pleasure David. Oh yeah, I have the best fans out there. They inspire me a lot. #usaboxingfans,#ukboxingfans are the best and around the world. God bless you all and your families.
