They say you never get a second chance to make a first impression. This November, TMT Promotions will be looking to make a great and lasting one when they stage their very first promotional event. According to a source, promoter 50 Cent is putting together the final details of a November 17 doubleheader that will feature undefeated former featherweight champion Yuriorkis Gamboa and top super middleweight contender Andre Dirrell making their promotional debuts.
Although details of the event have yet to be finalized, our source tells us that both Gamboa and Dirrell will be fighting for world titles. Gamboa, who last fought in September of 2011, will be facing IBF super featherweight champion Juan Carlos Salgado while Dirrell, who last fought in December of 2011, will likely face WBA interim super middleweight champion Brian Magee.
