"I kind of had an idea that this clown would pull something like this. It's just been this way throughout this whole process of dealing with him; the negotiations, the site, you know, he's been wanting to fight Devon for years, but it's like pulling teeth trying to get him in the ring...I don't think the injury is legitimate; I don't think it's legit. For one, I don't think he was ready, you know? I got sources that are telling me that he wasn't ready," stated world-class trainer Kevin Cunningham, who obviously wasn't pleased to find out about Randall Bailey being forced to pull out of his scheduled September 8th title defense against Devon Alexander. You don't want to miss what else Cunningham had to say. Check it out!

BT: What was your initial reaction when you first heard the news that Randall Bailey was pulling out of the fight?

KC: Well, I mean, it was really upsetting, but I kind of had an idea that this clown would pull something like this. It's just been this way throughout this whole process of dealing with him; the negotiations, the site, you know, he's been wanting to fight Devon for years, but it's like pulling teeth trying to get him in the ring, and now he makes the ultimate bitch move.

BT: So you're not convinced that the injury is legit?

KC: Nah, I don't think the injury is legitimate; I don't think it's legit. For one, I don't think he was ready, you know? I got sources that are telling me that he wasn't ready. The fight was supposed to be August 25th, but he said, "No, that's too early. That's too soon." He didn't want to fight August 25th, so we pushed it back to September 8th to accommodate his wishes. He didn't want the fight in St. Louis, so they had to go city to city trying to find a site. He wanted to fight in Vegas; he got it in Vegas. He wanted to fight in September, he wanted to fight in Vegas, he got the date, he got the site, he got the money, and a week before the fight, he pulls out because he hurt his back sparring? Who the fuck was he sparring with? Kimbo Slice? It's bullshit, man. I know game when I see it, you know? Devon's ready to go! He's talking all this crap in all of his interviews, and now he's talking about he's injured and he needs 2 or 3 weeks of bed rest.

BT: Is that what he's saying? That he needs 2 to 3 weeks of rest before he can train?

KC: That's what I was told. You know, anybody that fakes an injury, the first thing they point to is their back because you can't really diagnose a back injury. It's bullshit, man. The bottom line is he's living up to his new name, Randall "Bitch Move" Bailey.

BT: So what are they going to do? Are they postponing the fight?

KC: Man, I don't know what the fuck's going on right now and I could care less whether we fight Randall Bailey or not. This motherfucker don't even deserve a network television fight. He's a fuckin' journeyman bum that lucked up on a belt, and now he's playing games and he's pulling any and every stunt he can to hold on to that belt as long as he can.

BT: Wow! So where do you go from here now? What do you do with Devon? Do you just put training on hold?

KC: I'm not sure, man, but Devon is ready to fight and he's ready to fight Saturday night, so I just gotta get with my people and see what we're going to do and see what's going to take place. I mean, we've been preparing for this fight for over 2 months now. We had a date, August 18th, but we moved our whole program back messin' around with this clown. Devon's been in the gym training since the middle of June.

BT: So you don't know any other details about the injury other than the fact that he just submitted a doctor's note?

KC: That's the lamest excuse in the world. "My back hurt. I hurt my back." He's the type of person that'll ride city transit, the bus happens to hit a curve or something, and he'll fall out of his seat and say he hurt his back to try to sue and get paid. I can't believe we even got ourselves involved in dealing with a clown like this. Every demand he's made, we've accommodated him, and now he pulls out.

BT: I'd be curious to know what he's weighing right now.

KC: I guarantee you he ain't nowhere near fighting shape or fighting weight. This motherfucker was throwing parades in Key West, partying in South Beach, posting about all the skanks that he's fucking all on Twitter; that was just a couple of weeks ago, so he can't be in no fight shape ready to fight Devon.

BT: Wow!

KC: You know, the bottom line is this, this man talked all this shit. Now it's one week away from getting in the ring and backing it up and he backs out. Like I said in my first initial interview, I hope that Randall Bailey backs his talk up and don't do the Michael Jackson moonwalk and moonwalk his way out of the fight; and that's what happened at the end of the day.
