"You know, honestly, I don't want to see the fight again. I don't think Marquez is a good fight for Manny," stated former WWE star turned mixed martial artist Dave Batista, who shared his thoughts on the December 8 showdown between 8-division world champion Manny Pacquiao and 4-division world champion Juan Manuel Marquez. Boxing fans may recall seeing the Filipino-American Batista escorting Manny Pacquiao to the ring prior to his devastating 2nd round KO of Ricky Hatton back in 2009. Since then, Batista has been an avid supporter of his fellow Filipino, however, he's not so eager to see Pacquiao step into the ring with Marquez for a fourth time.
"I think you are gonna see the same thing you saw the first three times (laughing). Manny is going to be real aggressive and Marquez is gonna be counter-punching. It's not a fight that I really wanna see again and I love Manny to death," Batista would explain in a conversation with FightHype's own Percy Crawford. "He is my favorite fighter in the world by far, but I don't want to see him fight Marquez again. It's just not a good matchup."
