A Sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps, Herring will likely makes his professional debut in the near future, possibly as early as late October or early November.
Although it was a disappointing outing for the 2012 U.S. Olympic men's team, individually, the fighters still displayed the type of talent that could blossom into a successful professional career. With the commitment of CBS to air the professional debuts of boxers from the 2012 Olympics, these men will have an opportunity to get early exposure as they look to build their fanbase, and having Al Haymon in their corner will no doubt benefit them on their journey to become future stars of the sport.
