Yesterday, FightHype's own David Kassel wrote a story featuring quotes from David Ali, the trainer of undefeated jr. middleweight Omar Henry, who alleged that IBF #1 jr. middleweight contender Gabriel Rosado was among many fighters who had recently turned down an opportunity to face his fighter. After reading the article, Rosado personally contacted FightHype.com refuting the comments that were made by Ali, flat out saying that Team Henry is not telling the truth. "That article put up by Omar Henry's people is nothing but lies. I never got a call to fight that guy! He is a fraud," stated Rosado who is currently on a 7-fight winning streak and fresh off of a 10th round TKO win just last month over Charles Whitaker.
Not only does Rosado accuse Ali of lying, but he also believes that his opinion that other fighters are trying to use Henry's name to increase their own exposure is absurd considering that Henry isn't the star that he hinks he is. "This dude is from everywhere; Houston, Puerto Rico and Chicago. You don't know what to believe from this fraud. His Twitter followers are bought. No way he has more followers than Canelo, Danny Garcia or B-Hop! The guy is a clown," Rosado continued.
