In the building that once housed the great Julio Cesar Chavez restaurant "Campeones," now called Arizona Event Center, Michelle Rosado and her Raging Babe Events, along with Crank it up Promotions, brought "Mayhem in Mesa." It was an action-packed night of boxing in the Valley of the Sun, Phoenix Arizona. One thing can be said for sure about all the fighters on this card, there were no Bruce "The Mouse" Strausse's (a professional stepping stone boxer from the 70's and 80's) on this card. Every fighter came to win and did not disappoint.
The Raging Babe herself, Michelle Rosado, continues to outdo each one of her past shows by moving to bigger, more comfortable venues and putting fighters on fight cards that continue to keep getting better each time out. Friday night was no exception. There were five top- notch bouts on the card, consisting of either four or six rounds, that did not fail to please. One thing is for sure, if Raging Babe keeps putting on these entertaining and exciting fight cards filled with these potential future boxing stars, the sky is the limit for Rosado and her team.
Fight 1: Brandon Riddell def Erick McMorris via TKO at 2:02 of Rd.1
Fight 2: In a fight that could have been fought in a phonebooth, and what could've been considered fight of the night, Victor Arriola and Bobby Lopez fought to a draw.
Fight 3: In my opinion, the brightest future star of the night, Arlo Argueta, won a Unanimous decision over Marcos Diaz
Fight 4: Milo Garcia won an unpopular decision over Jesus Pacheco
Fight 5: In the main event Jose Marrufo defeated David Yanez via Unanimous decision
