After a training injury suffered by IBF jr. middleweight champion Ishe Smith postponed his first title defense against Carlos Molina, there was speculation that the entire card might be scrapped. However, lightweight contender Mickey Bey has informed FightHype.com that his already scheduled fight with fellow lightweight contender John Molina will fill the void left on the July 19th Showtime date.
Bey vs. Molina will now be the main event of the Mayweather Promotions show. Also on the card will be undefeated Mayweather Promotions light heavyweight prospect Badou Jack, who will be taking on Farah Ennis.
