MIGUEL COTTO DESTROYS DELVIN RODRIGUEZ IN 3 ROUNDS

Moments ago, at the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida, former jr. middleweight champion Miguel Cotto got back to his winning ways in impressive fashion, knocking out contender Delvin Rodriguez in less than three short rounds of work. Coming off back-to-back losses to Floyd Mayweather and Austin Trout, Cotto looked like his former aggressive self, backing up Rodriguez with hard body punches before landing a devastating left hook upstairs that prompted the referee to call a halt to the assault. ROUND 1
Both fighters come out firing their jabs. Cotto backs Rodriguez up. Nice left hook to the body lands for Cotto. Rodriguez gets in a left upstairs. Short right hook lands for Rodriguez on the inside. Cotto digs a 1-2 to the body. Another left to the body lands for Cotto. Two jabs land for Cotto. They trade on the inside. Another left hook to the body from Cotto has Rodriguez on the retreat.
