According to Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer, the December 14 pay-per-view clash between undefeated WBA welterweight champion Adrien Broner and top contender Marcos Maidana is now finalized. The co-main event features the return of former welterweight champion Victor Ortiz, who will be making his 154-pound debut when he challenges newly-crowned IBF jr middleweight champion Carlos Molina.
As usual, there will also be two more televised fights on the pay-per-view card. Opening up the telecast will be jr. middleweight contender Alfredo Angulo, who will look to get back to his winning ways when he faces Jorge Melendez. Also on the card is an explosive matchup between hard-hitting welterweights Keith Thurman and Jesus Soto Karass. An official announcement from Golden Boy Promotions will be coming soon.
