"Ten million dollars is a lot of money. That's not an easy fight for Canelo at all. That's going to be a tough one. That ain't no easy fight for no Canelo at all," stated multi-division world champion and future Hall of Famer "Sugar" Shane Mosley, who shared his thoughts on a potential showdown between jr. middleweights Saul "Canelo" Alvarez and Miguel Cotto. Although the fight is still far from becoming a reality, Mosley believes that Cotto has a much better chance of walking away with a victory against Canelo than he does should he decide to move up in weight and face middleweight king Sergio Martinez instead.
"It ain't like no 'Canelo's gonna win' type of shit. Nah buddy. Cotto's a different animal. Cotto's different. He's just different. He has a good jab. It doesn't look like it from the outside, but when you're in there, he throws a good jab. He's strong. He's physically strong; stronger than what Canelo is going to think, so he's not going to be able to bully Cotto," Mosley explained during a recent conversation with FightHype.com. "It's going to be a hard fight. Actually, it's a much better fight with him and Cotto than it is with him and Mayweather. It's going to be an action-packed fight. They're both going to get hit with some good shots...For a fight fan that wants to see a fight, I would much rather see Cotto and Canelo fight [than Cotto and Martinez]. That's a fight fans type of fight. It's more of an action-packed fight."
