Earlier today, welterweight contender Kell Brook kept his undefeated record intact, dropping former welterweight champion Vyacheslav Senchenko twice en route to a fourth round stoppage. It was an impressive performance by Brook, who walked Senchenko down behind a stiff jab before finding a home for his right hand. Senchenko was game, but he quickly realized that Brook was the quicker and stronger man after a well-timed right hand dropped him in third round.
Although he beat the count and was able to survive the round, it didn't take long for Brook to finish the job. After a good exchange in the fourth round, Brook landed another solid right hand that sent Senchenko crashing into the canvas. Though he again beat the count, it was clear that that Senchenko would not be able to continue, prompting the referee to call a halt to the fight.
