MAYWEATHER PROMOTIONS HOSTS STACKED FIGHT CARD FRIDAY, DECEMBER 6, ON SHOBOX: THE NEW GENERATION

Mayweather Promotions will end 2013 with a bang when they host, "The Little Creek Brawl," a full card of rising stars headlined by middleweight contender J'Leon Love on Friday, Dec. 6 from Little River Casino in Shelton, Wash., live on ShoBox: The New Generation.  The night will also feature Mayweather Promotions mainstays lightweight prospect Mickey Bey, super middleweight prospect Badou Jack and middleweight prospect Chris Pearson; all in bouts against opponents to be announced.

The "Little Creek Brawl" telecast on SHOWTIME will begin at 11:50 p.m. ET/PT (delayed on the West Coast) following the SHOWTIME theatrical premiere of Sinister.

"We're looking forward to putting on a top to bottom card of Mayweather Promotions talent," said Floyd Mayweather, president of Mayweather Promotions.  "Our goal is to be the future of sports and entertainment and being able to showcase so many of our fighters in one night live on SHOWTIME is definitely a step in the right direction."

"Mayweather Promotions has grown exponentially in the last year," said Leonard Ellerbe, CEO of Mayweather Promotions. "Our roster of talent continues to expand and with the strong support of SHOWTIME, we are able to feature our fighters who we feel are part of the future of boxing."

"I have been working very hard to get this chance," said Love.  "I am so grateful to Floyd Mayweather and the Mayweather Promotions team for this opportunity and I will not let them down.  Every fighter dreams of headlining a card, let alone one that is full of fighters you know and admire.  I plan on closing out the night with a great performance that fans won't forget."

Detroit, Michigan's J'Leon Love (15-0, 8 KO's) has made a name for himself  with appearances on stacked fight cards including the May 4, 2013 pay-per-view event headlined by Floyd Mayweather. The 26-year-old impressed boxing fans when he tested 28-fight veteran Derrick Findley with a near-shutout decision on Feb. 23, 2013 in front of his hometown crowd in Detroit.  Now in his first fight since facing middleweight power-puncher Gabriel Rosado last May, Love looks to reestablish himself as a middleweight force to be reckoned with when he faces an opponent to be determined on Dec. 6.

A member of the 2008 Gambian Olympic team, Badou "The Ripper" Jack  (15-0-1, 10 KO's) now fights out of Las Vegas, where he has made a strong impression in the fight capital of the world. The exciting, undefeated up-and-comer boxed a draw in his most recent fight, days before promoter Floyd Mayweather defeated Canelo Alvarez on Sept. 14.  Jack continues to grow as a professional, while crediting  Mayweather for guiding him to believe in himself  and strive to be a champion some day.

Mickey Bey (18-1-1, 9 KO's) was a sensational amateur, a four-time national champion and a member of the 2004 U.S. Olympic team.  He was unable to compete in the Olympic Qualifiers or Olympic Games, however, after he became ill with pneumonia after winning the Olympic Box-Offs.  After turning pro in April 2005, Bey had high hopes, which were not realized until he recently signed with Mayweather Promotions earlier this year.  A terrific boxer-puncher, he was sharp and dominant in his debut as a member of The Money Team last Feb. 2, has provided boxing fans with entertainment in each bout since then and will look to add another 'W' to his record on Dec. 6.

Undefeated middleweight Chris Pearson (9-0, 8 KO's) will look to continue his undefeated record  on Dec. 6. It will be the first fight for Pearson since he knocked out Joshua Williams on Sept. 14 in a first-round TKO.  This exciting rising star from Dayton, Ohio has a very bright future ahead of him.
