"We're gonna go with VADA. It's VADA.," stated undefeated WBO welterweight champion Timothy Bradley, who informed us that the Voluntary Anti-Doping Association will be responsible for handling the drug testing for his anticipated April 12 showdown with multi-division world champion Manny Pacquiao. Earlier this week, both Pacquaio and Bradley had already agreed to all terms of their bout, including the testing organization and the purse split. The only thing left was for Bradley to agree to a multi-fight contract extension with Top Rank, which was a pre-requisite prior to him getting the rematch with Pacquiao. That last hurdle was cleared earlier today when Top Rank reportedly agreed to what Bradley was asking for.
"Like I said, all the terms are met. I'ma continue on my quest to clean up the sport and find all of these shady athletes and fighters. Like I said, I had my terms. Top Rank met every term there was as far as the contract to fight Pacquao and the extension. I'm happy. I'm happy with my decision. I'm happy with everything Top Rank has done so far. So, I mean, I can't complain," he added, making it clear that, unlike his previous bout with Juan Manuel Marquez, there won't be any confusion on which organization is testing both fighters.
