Undefeated heavyweight contender Bryant Jennings made an impressive HBO debut after scoring a 10th round stoppage of Artur Szpilka at The Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York. Jennings was patient in breaking down the previously unbeaten Szpilka, who tried to press the action in the middle rounds. A solid left hook to the body dropped Szpilka in the 6th round and Jennings proceeded to dominate for the remainder of the fight.
Though Szpilka would swing wildly as he fought back, Jennings was too smart to fall into any traps. In the final round, another wild swing would be Szpilka's undoing as Jenning landed a devastating combination that would drop the Polish southpaw one last time. Official time of the stoppage was 2:20 of round 10.
