Sources close to the information have informed us that IBF jr. welterweight champion Lamont Peterson and his brother, lightweight contender Anthony Peterson, have both signed with influential adviser Al Haymon. The Peterson Brothers will join former jr. welterweight champion Amir Khan, former welterweight champion Luis Collazo, light heavyweight champion Adonis Stevenson, and former light heavyweight champion Chad Dawson as the newest additions to Haymon's rapidly growing stable of fighters, which already includes Floyd Mayweather, Danny Garcia, Adrien Broner, Marcos Maidana, Lucas Matthysse, Devon Alexander, Peter Quillin, Leo Santa Cruz, Gary Russell Jr., Austin Trout, Erislandy Lara, Andre Berto, Sakio Bika, Chris Arreola, Deontay Wilder, and Edwin Rodriguez, just to name a few.
Lamont Peterson is coming off of an impressive 12-round unanimous decision victory over the previously unbeaten Dierry Jean. Though his future plans are currently unknown, he has plenty of options within the Haymon stable, including potential rematches with Lucas Matthysse and Amir Khan. Anthony Peterson last fought in May of 2013, scoring a 2nd round stoppage of Dominic Salcido. He's currently slated to make his return to the ring next Friday when he takes on Marcos Leonardo Jimenez.
