According to world-class trainer Billy Briscoe, undefeated rising light heavyweight Dennis Hasson is the latest fighter to sign with influential adviser Al Haymon. Hasson joins multi-division world champion Robert Guerrero, IBF jr. welterweight champion Lamont Peterson, and former welterweight champion Luis Collazo as the newest additions to Haymon's rapidly growing stable of fighters, which already includes Floyd Mayweather, Adonis Stevenson, Danny Garcia, Adrien Broner, Marcos Maidana, Lucas Matthysse, Chad Dawson, Devon Alexander, Peter Quillin, Leo Santa Cruz, Gary Russell Jr., Austin Trout, Erislandy Lara, Andre Berto, Sakio Bika, Chris Arreola, Deontay Wilder, and Edwin Rodriguez, just to name a few.
Hasson was last seen in the ring well over a year ago when he won a unanimous decision victory over Daniel Judah in August of 2012. He was scheduled to fight last February, but a rib injury forced him to pull out of the bout. The Philly native is now looking to get his career back on track as he continues his quest for a world title. Also flying under the radar of recent Al Haymon signings are lightweight Chris Alexander (4-0, 3 KOs) and jr. middleweight Bryant Perrella (3-0, 2 KOs).
