FREDDIE ROACH SAYS FIRST BRADLEY FIGHT WAS

"It was so easy for him in the early rounds, in the later rounds, he wasn't throwing combinations like he usually does. He was just single-punching and just kind of just going through the motions because he thought he was way ahead of course," stated Hall of Fame trainer Freddie Roach, who spoke during a recent conference call to promote the upcoming April 12 rematch between his fighter, multi-division world champion Manny Pacquiao, and undefeated WBO welterweight champion Timothy Bradley. According to Roach, the first fight was so easy for Pacquiao that fans can expect to see a similar game plan as their last fight, except at a faster, more aggressive pace.

"We need to be a little bit more aggressive this fight and fight 3 minutes of every round. I think if we fight at a fast pace like that, we will be able to stop Bradley somewhere along the way," Roach explained. "One bad decision doesn't change everything in life and it doesn't change our game plan. We're going to fight a similar fight to our last fight; very busy, combinations, in and out. We got a great game plan down and Manny's doing very well with it. We're not going to make any adjustments per who the judges are or anything like that because that's really out of our control.
