HBO's award-winning franchise "24/7" returned with the premiere of "24/7 Pacquiao/Bradley 2", the all-access reality series following multi-division world champion Manny Pacquiao and undefeated WBO welterweight champion Timothy Bradley as they prepare for their April 12 showdown at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. "I'm not saying that I'm going to knock him out, but I will bring back the aggressiveness and the killer instinct that he wants to see...It's good for me. It's good. It's kind of challenging me. I want to answer him in action on April 12th," Pacquiao would comment, making it clear that he's ready to prove that the fire still burns inside of him. Check out what else Manny Pacquiao had to say in episode 1 of 24/7 Pacquiao/Bradley 2.
MANNY PACQUIAO
On the first fight...
I should put more on gas and be aggressive.
I'm not saying that I could knock him out, but I'm just nice to Bradley in the ring. That's what happened.
I really feel that I won by unanimous decision.
I'm just smiling and I said, I think my thought is, "This is boxing; part of the game."
On the fallout following the decision in the first fight...
What I need to prove? I already proved I can easily win.
On his knockout loss to Juan Manuel Marquez...
Not all the time you're always winning in the game. Sometimes, when the time comes that you lost, you have to accept it.
On Bradley's fight with Juan Manuel Marquez...
He learned a lot with Marquez. He knows how to box; he knows how to move around.
On the Rios fight...
I'm not thinking about that knockout [by Marquez] If I surrender and always thinking about that fight, then I cannot move on.
I have to show the fans that Manny Pacquiao can still fight.
When I walked to the ring, I felt like I'm 22 years old, 25 years old; I'm excited. It's like I'm starting from the beginning.
During the fight, I felt relaxed and, you know, strong. My combinations is there. My speed is there.
On the upcoming rematch...
I'm not saying that I'm going to knock him out, but I will bring back the aggressiveness and the killer instinct that he wants to see.
It's good for me. It's good. It's kind of challenging me. I want to answer him in action on April 12th.
