Top U.S. heavyweight prospect Dominic "Trouble" Breazeale (9-0, 9 KO's) will be back in action tonight looking for his 10th win with as many knockouts on the nationally televised Golden Boy Live card in Indio, California. Breazeale will be opening the "Night of the Heavyweights" broadcast on Fox Sports 1/Fox Deportes and faces Nagy Aguilera (19-7, 13 KO's), a tough seasoned veteran who has fought top tier opposition in the heavyweight division.
The 2012 U.S. Olympian is looking forward to this opportunity to showcase his skill and talent on national television and let the heavyweight division know that he is on his way to the top.
"This is a great opportunity for me and I'm truly excited to be in the ring with an experienced fighter. This fight is almost six months overdue and I'm ready to make the most of this opportunity. Granted and God willing everything goes according to plan, I feel I will be ready to start fighting top 20 guys" said Breazeale.
When his trainer John Bray was asked about tonight's bout and Breazeale's future, Bray stated that, "I believe Nagy Aguilera is going to put Dominic Breazeale in a position where he will have to showcase all of his skills and he is definitely well prepared to do so. Dominic's performance tonight will show that he is the world's premiere heavyweight prospect."
"Night of the Heavyweights" is scheduled to take place tonight at the Fantasy Springs Resort and Casino. The FOX Sports 1 and FOX Deportes telecast will broadcast live at 10:00 p.m. EST / 7:00 p.m. PST.
