Undefeated pound-for-pound king Floyd "Money" Mayweather sits at the top of ESPN The Magazine's annual list of the highest-paid athletes in the world. Only taking into consideration base salary or prize money, Mayweather took the number one spot after raking in a minimum of $73.5 million for his dominating performances against Robert Guerrero [$32 million] and Saul "Canelo" Alvarez [$41.5 million] in 2013. That number is a whopping $23.3 million more than the number two athlete, Portuguese soccer player Cristiano Ronaldo, who netted $50.2 million. The majority of the list was dominated by MLB and NFL players. The only NBA player to make it into the Top 25 was Kobe Bryant, who was 8th on the list with $30.5 million. It should be noted that one other boxer, unified heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko, made it in at number 20 with $24 million.
