Moment ago at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, three-division world champion Adrien Broner looked solid in his debut at jr. welterweight after suffering the first loss of his career, defeating contender Carlos Molina via relatively easy unanimous decision. Molina was game, but was never able to mount a consistent attack against Broner, who discouraged him all night with crisp right hands from the outside and solid uppercuts and body work on the inside. In the end, all three judges scored the bout 99-91, 98-92, and 100-90 in favor of Broner.
