Moments ago at Wembley Arena in London, England, WBA & IBF super middleweight champion Carl Froch proved that the first fight was no fluke after knocking out top contender George Groves in the 8th round. Although Groves got off to a good start, the more experienced Froch continued to close the distance, landing good body shots and slowly but surely finding a home for his right hand. Finally, in the 8th round, Froch landed a devastating right hand that floored Groves, leaving him lying on the canvas with his left leg bent awkwardly behind him.
