Sources close to the information have informed us that jr. middleweight contender Vanes Martirosyan has signed with influential adviser Haymon. Martirosyan joins IBF lightweight champion Miguel Vazquez as the newest additions to Haymon's rapidly growing stable of fighters, which already includes Floyd Mayweather, Adonis Stevenson, Danny Garcia, Adrien Broner, Marcos Maidana, Lucas Matthysse, Chad Dawson, Devon Alexander, Peter Quillin, Leo Santa Cruz, Gary Russell Jr., Austin Trout, Erislandy Lara, Andre Berto, Sakio Bika, Chris Arreola, Deontay Wilder, and Edwin Rodriguez, just to name a few.
Martirosyan (34-1-1, 21 KOs) last fought this past March, scoring a unanimous decision victory over Mario Alberto Lozano. The only blemishes on his record are a razor-thin split decision loss to Demetrius Andrade in his first world title bid and a draw with current WBA jr. middleweight champion Erislandy Lara.
