"I'm willing to fight anybody. I think that's a real good fight for me. I think Manny Pacquiao is a real good fight for me. But you know, it's whatever Al wants to do and it's whatever the promoters want to do," stated unified jr. welterweight champion Danny Garcia, who shared his thoughts on a potential clash with WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao. Recently, Pacquiao's trainer, Freddie Roach, has lobbied for a future showdown with Garcia, noting that the 8-division world champion is planning on returning to the 140-pound division. It's a fight that Garcia welcomes with open arms, assuming, of course, that Pacquiao gets past his November 22 assignment with WBO jr. welterweight champion Chris Algieri.
"I would love to fight him and I think that would be a big fight for boxing. If they say I'm fighting Manny Pacquiao tomorrow, it's on and popping," Garcia revealed during a recent conversation with FightHype's Percy Crawford. "No doubt it will be fireworks because he has an aggressive style, he likes to bang, he likes to fight, and I'm young and strong, but at the end of the day, he gotta worry about this guy in front of him, Chris Algieri. I think that's an interesting fight and he has to get pass that."
