Moments ago at the 1stBank Center in Broomfield, Colorado, former lightweight champion Branon Rios pummeled former jr. welterweight champion Mike Alvarado, battering him for three rounds before ultimately the referee called a halt to the assault on the advice of the ringside doctor in between rounds.
