"That's what this whole thing is all about because it's the biggest fight ever. He's going to shut mouths, believe me. He's going to shut a whole bunch of mouths," stated world-class trainer Floyd Mayweather Sr., who shared his thoughts on the big announcement that his son, undefeated pound-for-pound king Floyd Mayweather, will indeed be stepping into the ring to face 8-division world champion Manny Pacquiao on May 2 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Although it's the mega-fight that fans have been waiting on for the past six years, Mayweather Sr. doesn't think it's going to be quite as competitive as people think.
"This is going to be a one-sided deal, man. Pacman gets his ass whooped, simple! I'm just telling you what it is," he explained during a recent conversation with FightHype.com. "Everybody all hyped and geeked, they will see how easy this fight is going to be. I'm just telling you right now and I'm saying this right now, ain't no way he can whoop Floyd. That's that. He can forget it. He can bite the bone because that's what he's going to do; hit the fucking ground."
As far as Mayweather Sr. is concerned, Floyd will look so dominant in the fight that fans shouldn't even be concerned about the fact that there's no rematch clause in the contract for the fighters. "Man, believe me, there will not be no need for a rematch. I'm just here to tell you, there will not be no need for a rematch. Right now, Floyd is smarter than Pacquiao, he's faster than Pacquiao, and like I said, Floyd is just too damn smart for him, period," Mayweather Sr. added. "Floyd's going to make him look like a baby. Believe me! Floyd can hit him with a jab and stuff easy, man. He's the most hittable man in the world. You gonna see that. You gonna get a chance to see exactly what I'm talking about. Floyd gonna hit him so easy. Floyd will dominate him bad."
