ALDO VS. MCGREGOR AND ROUSEY VS. TATE III DOUBLEHEADER EYED FOR AT&T STADIUM IN DALLAS?

What seemed like a dream to many UFC fans in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex might become a reality in four months. While addressing the media after "Rowdy" Ronda Rousey's 34-second beatdown of Bethe Correia at UFC 190, UFC President Dana White revealed that UFC 194 will most likely take place at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. White let it be known that nothing is official, but negotiations are ongoing to bring what could possibly be the biggest card in UFC history to the DFW Metroplex.

If things go as expected, UFC 194 will feature a featherweight unification bout between reigning UFC featherweight champion Jose "Scarface" Aldo and interim UFC featherweight champion "Notorious" Conor McGregor. The two were schedule to fight at UFC 189, but the bout was canceled due to a rib injury suffered by Aldo in training. McGregor would go on to beat Chad "Money" Mendes via second round TKO to claim a piece of the featherweight title. Mendes vs. McGregor set the biggest gate for a UFC event by racking in 7.2 million. A fight at AT&T stadium would definitely break the record for the biggest gate for a UFC event.

If that wasn't big enough news, Rousey vs. Miesha Tate 3 will likely be the co-main event, which would put the UFC's two biggest draws, McGregor and Rousey, on the same card for the first time ever. Rousey stated after beating Correia that she would love to be on the Aldo vs. McGregor card if she had her way, and the Dec. 5 date would fall right in line with her plan.
During her media day ahead of Saturday's fight, the "Rowdy One" said, "I'm going to beat up Bethe, then I'm going to take a couple of weeks to rest, and then I'm going to go beat up Miesha, and then I'm going to go to like Thailand or wherever we decide to film ["Mile 22"] and prep for like a month, and then start filming for like eight to 10 weeks, and then go beat up the next chick."

If this all comes true, UFC 194 will not only be the biggest event in the company's history, but it could have a chance to be the one of the biggest events in DFW Metroplex sports history, right up with Super Bowl XLV.
