Moments ago at the O2 Arena in London, England, former heavyweight champion David Haye made a successful return to the ring, defeating Mark De Mori via 1st round TKO. It had been 3 1/2 years since Haye last fought in front of a crowd and he soaked up every minute of it, from the moment he made his ring walk until the brutal finish to the fight. Haye quickly steps to the center of the ring and begins backing up De Mori with his jab. Another jab lands for Haye. Nice 1-2 lands for Haye. Another HARD right lands for Haye and De Mori wobbles a bit. Jab lands for Haye. Right from De Mori is blocked. Nice right to the body lands for Haye. De Mori backs up. Right to the body followed by a left hook upstairs lands for Haye. HARD left hook lands for Haye and De Mori covers up against the ropes. BIG right lands for Haye and De Mori is hurt bad. A follow-up barrage from Haye and De Mori goes down. The referee doesn't even bother to count as De Mori lays stiff on the canvas.
