Moments ago at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, undefeated former world champion Mikey Garcia looked sensational after a 2 1/2 year layoff, scoring four knockdowns en route to a 5th round stoppage of former world champion Elio Rojas. Rojas was game, landing his fair share of right hands early in the fight, but Garcia patiently walked him down, closing the distance and finding a home for his harder shots. After Rojas was dropped twice in the 3rd round, it didn't take long for Garcia to close the show, sending him crashing to the canvas two more times in the 5th round, prompting the referee to call a halt to the onslaught at 2:02.
ALSO ON THE CARD:

As promised, Tevin Farmer made Ivan Redkach pay for his comments on social media, beating him up to the body en route a dominant 10-round unanimous decision victory.
